No. PrintDeck is designed for monitoring. It works entirely inside your local Wi-Fi network, requires no cloud service and does not send data anywhere.
The only printer control it can expose is switching the chamber light on or off, and only when its compatibility analysis confirms a safe, supported path. Everything happens locally on the device.
The short answer is that printer manufacturers do not follow one consistent standard. PrintDeck uses advanced communication analysis to interpret manufacturer-specific details, but it cannot recognize every variation.
Please use Compatibility Check. It gathers the required diagnostic data locally, anonymizes it and lets you download a report. PrintDeck never collects or uploads this data automatically; you must download the report and send it to support yourself.
